We empower engineers, heat treaters, and researchers with advanced simulation software backed by over 40 years of metallurgical expertise. Our tools transform heat treatment from trial-and-error into science-based decision making by predicting microstructure, distortion, and residual stress before parts reach the furnace. With proven modeling technology and practical industry insight, we help users optimize processes, improve quality, reduce scrap, and accelerate innovation.
Beyond software, we deliver guidance, training, and ongoing support, ensuring teams can confidently apply simulation to real-world production challenges. Whether designing a new process, troubleshooting a legacy line, or pushing performance limits, we equip users with the knowledge and technology to modernize heat treatment and achieve measurable results.
In 1982, Dr. B Lynn Ferguson noticed that the automotive industry was losing hundreds of millions of dollars annually to distortion and residual stress caused by the heat treatment process. To address these challenges, Dr. Ferguson founded Deformation Control Technology in Cleveland, Ohio, now known as Dante Solutions, to help companies understand and ultimately optimize the heat treating process through science, not guesswork.
Over 40 years later, Dr. Ferguson and the rest of the DANTE team still works with companies to optimize their heat treating processes using the suite of software we’ve created along the way.
